A thought on Christmas!

People in Iraq & Lavent are celebrating the birth of two prophets within one week of each other. The Muslims celebrated the birth of their prophet Muhammad “the last Prophet”. The Christians are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, “the son of God”.If we were living in a peaceful region and a society that upholds the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, we would’ve said that the divine will, that timed the two occasions within a week of each other, was a message sent to bring the followers of the two prophets closer to each other.

The problem is that the divine will that put both occasions within a week of each other has not been understood yet, especially by the followers of the second prophet who came 570 years after the first one.

Today, a group that follows the second prophet is conducting a systematic campaign to eradicate the followers of the first prophet in Iraq and Levant. They are doing so amidst the silence of the rest of the followers of the second prophet.

In Mosul for example, the followers of the first prophet were the original inhabitants of the city. When the followers of the second prophet invaded the city, 1,500 years ago, they gave the people of the city the following options: 1. Convert to the new religion, 2. Pay tribute (tax for non Muslims who live in a Muslim state). 3. Leave the city or 4. Get killed.

The poor and needy entered the new religion and the rich and powerful paid tribute.

This arrangement between the followers of the first prophet and the followers of the second prophet continued with its ups and downs and the rise and fall of states and empires.

After 1,500 years, a new group that follows the second prophet came to the city and wanted to bring back the glory of the Caliphate through beheadings and terror and through forcing the “people of Nazareth” to enter their religion.

After controlling Mosul, they wrote on their doors the letter (ن) or N, meaning Nasara (of Nazereth) and put them in front of the same options that were presented to them 1,500 years ago.

Back then the poor and needy entered the new religion. This time round, entering the new religion meant that you become a killer if you are a man or a sex slave if you are a woman.

At first we thought that those who wrote (ن) on the doors are the foreigners who came from countries and families filled with hatred and Psychological complexes. We tried to ask all the followers of the second prophet from the people of Mosul, who have been living together for 1,500 years to write on their own doors the letter (ن) and when the Caliph wakes up and sees that the whole of Mosul is (ن), he will realise that his days are numbered in this resilient and tolerant city.

The painful reality was revealed by those who left the city after the three-day ultimatum. Those who wrote (ن) on the doors of the followers of the first prophet, were their neighbours, their students, their patients and their customers. They acted as local guides for the foreigners who came from far to build a state on the rubble of what they destroyed and looted from the followers of the first prophet and others.

This happened only a year and a half ago.

The disturbing fact was that the followers of the second prophet celebrated the birth of their prophet three days ago as if nothing has happened!

Not only on this occasion, but on many other occasions, we do not hear any mention of what happened to the followers of the first prophet at the hands of this new group in Iraq and Levant in the name of the second prophet.

To the contrary, we hear some Sheikhs and Imams issuing fatwas banning any celebration of the birth of the first prophet while celebrating the birth of the second one!

If things continue as they are now, Iraq and Levant will loose the followers of the first prophet and with them, we will lose depth, wisdom and beauty.

If things continue as today, the place will be filled with losers who live in a virtual world and tried to change things back home but failed and came to Iraq and Levant to realise the caliphate dream and fulfil their perverted sexual fantasies and sick psychological disorders.

As a reminder of our dangerous reality and our perverted way of thinking, I decided to change my cover photo to (ن) and tell the followers of the second prophet that the followers of the first prophet can be a lot more violent if they want to. Numerically they are a lot more.

Our countries are much more beautiful with diversity.

To my friends who follow the first prophet: Merry Christmas!
